1. Senior Project Manager

We are open to hearing from applicants from diverse backgrounds of experience and education, but as a minimum, we are looking for individuals with the following qualifications:

Qualifications and Duties Include

• 2 or more years of work experience as a Project Manager.

• 5 years of work experience in the steel erection, steel fabrication, or related industries as a Project Engineer or Project Coordinator.

• Capable of interpreting contract language, construction drawings, and understand basic engineering terminology.

• Strong attention to details, ability to multi-task, highly organized, computer and tech savvy.

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team orientated office environment.

• Full responsibility for P & L on projects under your supervision.

• Work closely with the Purchasing, Preconstruction, Production and Erection departments to exceed customer expectations, meet project schedules, and maintain budget. 

• Generate and maintain project schedule, identifying key milestones and critical path.

• Create and manage subcontracts to support project scope of work. 

• Delegate work to Expeditors, Superintendents and other project staff. 

• Reviews RFIs, ASIs, and revised structural/landscape/architectural drawings for scope of work impact. Pricing and issuing change order requests generated by design drawing and RFI contract modifications.

• Generate and respond to RFIs regarding structural steel & miscellaneous steel details. 

• Manage decking, stair, miscellaneous metals, detailing, and other subcontractors, shop drawing , quality, and engineering submittals.

Safety / Physical Requirements

Must wear proper PPE while on production floor. Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and stand for extended periods of time. Use hands; reach with hands and arms. Close vision required. Utilize computer keyboard and monitor. Demonstrates accountability for all safety procedures.
