Bridges to Prosperity.

Fought and Company Supports Bridges to Prosperity.

La Marca, Bolivia

Fought & Company, Inc. was proud to select David Alameda to represent our company in the construction of a new pedestrian suspension bridge located in La Marca, Bolivia. The project was organized by the National Steel Bridge Alliance (NSBA) and Bridges to Prosperity (B2P), a nonprofit organization that builds footbridges in isolated communities across the world. B2P works to create access to essential health care, education, and economic opportunities by building footbridges over impassable rivers. B2P measures success by the long lasting impact training and bridge projects have on the reduction of rural poverty due to isolation. David's trip to Panama lasted for a total of two weeks, allowing him and his team of fellow volunteers to complete one of the largest suspension bridges ever built by B2P.

David has proudly served the last four years at Fought & Company, located in Tigard, Oregon as Shop Superintendent. He leads a team of five Foreman and supervises an additional crew of approximately 100 employees. David sincerely appreciates being selected for this Bridges to Prosperity project in Bolivia. Fought & Company is excited and honored to be sending David on this once in a lifetime trip.
